Sustainable Travel Project – Little Eaton Greenway: Community Engagement Event
The next drop-in community engagement event for the Little Eaton Greenway project will be held between 12pm and 7pm on 10th March 2026 at the OAP Centre on Barley Close Little Eaton
Published: 2 March 2026
The Little Eaton Greenway forms a central section of the Derby City to Ripley Active Travel Route, and this major project is funded by UK Government through the Active Travel England funding stream. The trail construction is well advanced and progressing well. We have five highway interface/crossing points associated with the scheme which are to be programmed shortly.
The Sustainable Travel Team from DCC, will be holding their third drop in community event at the OAP Centre on Barley Close, Little Eaton on 10th March between 12pm and 7pm. This is part of their wider Community Engagement Plan for the project and will be similar to the previous two events held earlier in the programme. These drop in style events give a wider portion of the community an opportunity to view plans, interact with the team and the project engineer, as well as their well-established volunteer group – the Little Eaton Greenway Supporters Group.
